Professional Experience
- Over 25 years of professional experience in various taxation fields for all different stages of inspections & tax consultancy. He started his career in May 2000 by joining the Egyptian Sales Taxes Authority as a member in the Tax Inspection Committee.
- In 2005, he joined a specialized professional tax firm (Bayt Alkhebra Tax Consultancy) as Tax Manager, where he participated in and led a number of work teams in tax inspection, identifying tax exposure, mitigating and minimizing tax risk, implementing tax planning and tax strategies, designing best-in-class tax functions, and meeting compliance obligations for various entity activities.
- In 2012, he was promoted to Tax Partner for both VAT & Real Estate Tax.
- In 2017, he established A&T Firm, providing all kinds of tax services & consultancy.
Committees and Workshops
- Participated in several official & governors' local committees discussing VAT & Real Estate tax practice issues and amendments.
- Participated in several external workshops for implementing & applying VAT in the Gulf Region & KSA with both tax and IT specialists' committees.
Training and Education
- Attended many training courses in all types of Egyptian direct & indirect taxes and indoor training courses on applying Non-Tax Duplication International Agreements between countries.
